Many of you are wondering why did Skinny Tie Madness change its look? Actually nobody is wondering...but we're going to tell you anyway.
Back in 2012 we launched the Skinny Tie Madness site on the BigCommerce platform. In 2017 we evaluated Shopify vs BigCommerce and we decided we wanted to switch to the Shopify platform. Making the move wasn't too hard but much like Avril Lavigne, we decided to over-complicate things by also changing our logo. We liked our old logo but thought it was time to evolve.
But why yellow? We chose yellow because we don't sell yellow ties. That is correct...we don't sell many yellow skinny ties. We sell ties of all colors but for some reason yellow is always a dud. We chose to use yellow as the foundation of our new look so it wouldn't clash with our best selling ties. That's all.
