Not to be confused with cow tipping, yellow tipping is that yellow polka dot print that you will start to see on the back of our ties. To avoid any confusion about the portion of the tie that we're referring to please see below:
Okay, so now you see it. That back portion of the tie is called THE TIPPING. Why?...Because it was invented by Sir William Tipping...NO!...Because it's the tip of the tie.
Tipping (Noun): Tipping is the Material Used to Complete The Reverse Side of a Tie.
Many ties have a solid black tipping but some ties use that space to have some fun. We decided to make our tie tippings bright yellow with black polka dots...because why not? We also made the tie loop in the same yellow polka dot fabric.
